Overview

EasyH ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the EasyH Map Portrait generator at easyh.space.

The short version: we collect very little data, we don't sell anything, and your photos never leave your device.

What Data We Collect

When you create a portrait, we log the following in our database:

• City name and country — the location you searched for
• Coordinates — latitude and longitude of the location
• Timestamp — when the portrait was generated
• IP address — your approximate network location, for rate limiting and abuse prevention

We do NOT collect:

• Your photos or any images you upload
• Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• Any payment information (the service is free)

All photo processing is done entirely in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers.

How We Use This Data

The data we collect is used solely for:

• Understanding which cities are popular (anonymous analytics)
• Rate limiting to prevent abuse
• Improving the service

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.

Cookies

EasyH does not use cookies. We do not track you across websites. We do not use analytics cookies or advertising trackers.

Third-Party Services

EasyH uses the following third-party services to function:

• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — for geocoding (converting city names to coordinates). Your search query is sent to their servers. See OpenStreetMap's Privacy Policy.
• OpenFreeMap — for serving map tiles. Your IP address may be logged by their servers. See openfreemap.org.
• Google Fonts — for loading typography. Google may log font requests. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

Generation logs (city name, coordinates, timestamp) are retained indefinitely for analytics purposes. IP addresses may be purged periodically. You may request deletion by contacting us.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal information, most data rights do not apply. If you believe we have stored information about you that you would like removed, please contact us at privacy@easyh.space.

Children's Privacy

EasyH is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page.
